The Association of Interfolk                     

The association of Interfolk is respondible for the Institute of Interfolk, and it is a non-profit organisation with registered office in the Municipality of Middelfart, Denmark.

The Association is based on individual membership, and the general meeting hold the supreme authority. The ordinary annual meeting is in the period 1 February to 30 April.

The Board of Directors consists of three to five members to be elected at the ordinary annual meeting for a term of one year. The Board of Directors elect the Chairman and Deputy Chairman, and the coordinator of the association participates as secretary in the meetings without right to vote. The Board of Directors makes decisions by meetings, telephone meetings or by procedure of writing.

The Board lays down the overall activity plans for the activities of the Institute that include

§  Research, surveys and other tasks of documentations;

§  Publications, courses, seminars and other dialogue activities; 

§  Project actvities and other development tasks - in a Danish, Nordic, European and broader international context. 

The capital base of the Association shall only be its assets at any time, including members’ subscriptions, donations and grants from private or public funds for development projects and pilot projects, and other earnings according to the objective of the association.

Any funds possessed by the Association at the time of liquidation cannot be paid to the members, but shall devolve to institutions or organisations which the general meeting feels would be best suited to pursuing the objective of the NEA.
